Absorbency

Each of our newborn contours is 2-layers with a lay in insert customizable to meet your needs. We offer a 2-layer bifold (4 layers when folded) for a trimmer fit or smaller newborns and a 2-layer Trifold (6 layers when folded) for heavy wetters or larger newborns. 

• bifold contours are approximately 1965 GSM when folded. Bifolds will be more trim than a trifold, but have less aborbency. Because newborns are changed so often this amount of absorbency will suit an average newborn, these are also our trimmest option!
• trifold contours are approximately 2645 GSM when folded. They are more ideal if your baby is a heavy wetter or is slightly larger. This style will likely fit better around 10 pounds, but may be more bulky than a bifold or one of our newborn preflats. It is our most absorbent newborn option!
  

Materials

Our printed contours are made with a buttery soft organic cotton french Terry outer

Our inners and inserts are made with luxurious bamboo french terry, providing deep absorbency, breathability, and comfort.

Fiber Contents:

• Outer: 95% Organic Cotton, 5% Spandex
• Inner: 70% Bamboo Viscose, 25% Organic Cotton, and 5% Spandex
• Insert: 70% Bamboo Viscose, 25% Organic Cotton, and 5% Spandex

Extended Sizing

Our NB (Newborn) contour design fits approximately 6-20 pounds, with extended wings that ensure a snug fit from day one. To fit a smaller baby, simply fold down the rise then wrap around baby.

Poppy Lane Contours are handmade, slight variations are to be expected.

Please note that contours are not waterproof and require the use of a waterproof cover for leak protection.

Washing instructions:

1. Dump solids
2. Machine wash
3. Tumble dry low or line dry for best results
