Why Poppy Lane?

Made to Order

I hand-make every diaper to order! I find this helps to reduce waste, helping the planet; but also ensures that you can get the exact absorbency your baby needs!

*If the absorbency option you would like is out of stock please reach out! I'm always happy to adjust!*

Fully Customizable

Choose your Style:

At Poppy Lane we offer two styles of diapers: Preflats and Contours.

Preflats are a combo of a flat and a prefold. They are all one piece (plus a booster) and are 2 or 3 layers sewn together. The wings are trifolded in the middle and then it is wrapped around baby. The majority of the absorbency is all in the one piece

Contours are two pieces: the body and a trifold. The contour body is 2 layers and is not folded, it acts as the shell holding the absorbency on baby while still being a part of the absorbency. The trifold goes in the center of the contour and acts as the main absorbency of the diaper.

Choose your absorbency:

*Please contact me if the absorbency option you would like is out of stock! I can adjust inventory for absorbency as long as the print and style are in stock!*

Preflats:

Choose between 2 or 3 thirsty layers of absorbency! Each of our preflats comes with a 3-layer lay-in booster to add additional absorbency.

  • 2-layer preflats are 2680GSM when folded
  • 3-layer preflats are 3700GSM when folded

I suggest 2 layer preflats for day use and 3 layers at night. If you have a heavy wetter and need more, I can do custom bifold or trifold inserts to up the absorbency. Just shoot me a message, I'm happy to help!

Contours:

Contours come with a 2 layer body. You can choose between a 2-layer or 3-layer trifold to customize absorbency for your little one!

  • contours with a 2-layer trifold are 2645GSM when folded and 8 total layers
  • contours with a 3-layer trifold are 3665GSM when folded and 11 total layers

I suggest 2-layer trifolds for day use and 3-layer trifold for night. If you have a heavy wetter and need more, I suggest going with a 3-layer preflat with a custom bifold or trifold insert for night!

Newborns:

Each of our newborn preflats is 2-layers, with an additional 3-layer lay-in booster to add absorbency as needed.

  • Printed newborn preflats are 2680GSM when folded

If you have a heavy wetter and need more, I can customize the preflats with extra layers or a larger booster. Just shoot me a message, I'm happy to help!

Extended Sizing

Our OS (One Size) design fits approximately 10-40 pounds, with extended wings that ensure a snug fit from infancy through potty training. To fit a smaller baby, simply fold down the rise then wrap around baby.

Our NB (Newborn) design fits approximately 6-20 pounds, with extended wings that ensure a snug fit from day one. To fit a smaller baby, simply fold down the rise then wrap around baby.

Poppy Lane Preflats are handmade, slight variations are to be expected.

Please note that preflats are not waterproof and require the use of a waterproof cover for leak protection.
